Remembering your memories...

Hello! How are you all?

Would just like to start off by saying a massive thank you for such a wonderful response on my last blog about anxiety and panic attacks. The messages I received were absolutely heart warming, I'm so grateful to everyone who took the time to read it. :)

That said, I thought I'd do a different type of blog this week about memories. Just a warning, it is pretty pointless and random lol!

I am such forgetful person myself but I think it's because my mind often wonders onto other things that are totally irrelevant and random ;) While in college the other day we were asked to research any career ideas we'd be interested in doing and I ended up looking at psychology/star signs and counselling sort of jobs. I'm so interested in things like that, I'd love to learn all about people's behaviour and why people act and respond the way they do and possibly use that knowledge to help people? Do any of my readers have that sort of job? I’d love some advice or for you to share your experiences? :)

Anyway, that got me thinking the other day about my childhood memories and how I wish someone had videod every day of my life somehow so that I could watch it back in the future... This could possibly help find any patterns or triggers as to why I act the way I do nowadays? It'd also be interesting to see which sort of things stick out in my mind the most. Is that weird or do you all think that would be amazing too? This idea also inspires me to daily vlogging on YouTube however I'm far too nervous to do that just yet haha! Maybe start off with a diary?

I feel like so many people wish they could remember their life from when they were younger, and love all their old keep-sakes and old toys/books from the past. So I was thinking of writing down all my memories I have of my childhood (could take a while ha) but then each day adding something else that I remember... That way after months of writing something new every day... I could end up with a whole book of memories? I'm not sure if anyone will find this as interesting as I do but I thought I’d share it been as my blog is like a collection of my thoughts ;)

I also was thinking about how strange it is that memories tend to be little snippets or feelings or sights/smells, rather than a whole day or week. When you think back on good memories like holidays or big events (driving test, birthdays, parties etc) or whatever it may be... It's always about 5 seconds that you remember, just a tiny moment that made you feel strongly enough to remember it years and years on whether it be good or bad. It made me think about how I should always try to make as many good memories and moments as possible, and even if a day starts off bad or everything seems to go wrong, try and do something good which will stick out in your mind. In the future you won't remember all the little things that went wrong that day you will just remember the tiny snippet that went right. Maybe..?

Anyway thanks for reading and sorry about the random blog today, doesn't seem to have much of a point but thought I'd share my views with you anyway :)

Speak again soon, Molly xxx
